The Tekonsha Prodigy P3 electric trailer brake controller is the epitome of excellence when it comes to trailer braking. As one of the most asked for units on the market, this proportional brake controller utilizes primary sensor technology to provide a smooth braking response in any stopping situation. With up-front push-button controls and a distinct, tri-lingual, multi-color LCD display, this intelligent brake controller makes it easy to adjust trailer braking preferences and monitor braking activity. The Prodigy P3 shares many of the same great features as the Prodigy P2, including a power output button to quickly and easily set your desired braking power, a boost option that lets you apply up to three levels of additional trailer braking power, especially when hauling heavier loads, and manual override. You can also choose between electric or electric over hydraulic braking, and more, with just the push of a button! What sets the P3 apart is its storage. With this unit, you have the ability to create and store up to five trailer settings and/or driver preferences and easily adjust them as needed. This compact, dash-hugging proportional brake control has everything you need to stop safely when on the road. When you are done towing, the P3s snap-in dash mounting clip, Plug Play port for two plug adapters, and removeable electrical connector allow the unit to be quickly stored. The Prodigy P3 works with trailers with 1-4 axles, comes with all the mounting hardware needed for installation, and is backed by a limited lifetime warranty.
  • PROPORTIONAL ELECTRIC BRAKE CONTROLLER: Provides automatic braking based on the intensity and rate at which you apply your tow vehicles brakes, thanks to an internal inertia sensor. This makes the Tekonsha P3 brake controller ideal in any braking situation.
  • STORE SETTING OPTIONS: The Prodigy P3 trailer brake controller can store up to five different trailer or driver preferences, making it the ideal choice for those who use the same tow vehicle to pull multiple trailers.
  • EASY-TO-READ LCD DISPLAY: Front-facing color LCD display shows settings, real-time diagnostics, and alerts.
  • BOOST FEATURE PROVIDES EXTRA BRAKING POWER: Boost provides up to three levels of additional stopping power at the touch of a button, giving you confidence in stopping safely when you are hauling heavier loads and/or need more power to stop.
  • MANUAL BRAKING AVAILABLE: If you ever need to manually apply the brakes, simply move the manual control lever to the left. The Prodigy P3 will apply power to your trailer?s brakes up to the amount of power previously set.
